Geographic Lead

California’s seven Geographic Lead areas work together to support local educational agencies.

The Valley to Coast Collaborative (VALCO) is a geographic area within California’s System of Support. This area consists of the following county offices of education: Kern, Fresno, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. This collaborative is committed to collaboratively building the capacity and sharing best practices and resources to support local LEAs.
