Administrator Credential Program
The KCSOS Clear Administrative Services Credential (CASC) Program provides a local option for new administrators to clear their Preliminary Administrative Services Credential. Per CTC guidelines, effective January 1, 2017: “any candidate serving on a preliminary Administrative Services credential should be enrolled in a clear induction program upon placement in an administrative position, but no later than one year from activation of the preliminary credential.”
If you are interested in enrolling in the KCSOS CASC Program, please read the information provided in the Enrollment Bulletin, (see Enrollment Information tab below) then complete & submit the Intent to Enroll form in the bulletin.

The Kern County Superintendent of Schools is pleased to offer a newly designed California Administrative Services Credential(CASC) Program. The KCSOS CASC program is a job-embedded, CPSEL aligned, site-based induction program. We provide individualized coaching for recently hired school administrators seeking to earn a clear Administrative Services Credential.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Administrators who possess a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (PASC) and need to obtain a Clear Administrative Services Credential (CASC). Per CTC guidelines, new administrators must begin a CASC Program upon placement in an administrative position, but no later than one year from activation of the preliminary credential.
