Fairgrounds Child Development Center

Fairgrounds Child Development Center is located right next to the Kern County Fairgrounds in Bakersfield. Staff work hard to ensure that children are able to explore, learn and grow in a warm and caring environment. Committed to the families that we serve, staff strive to provide parents with complete peace of mind while being a shining example of what quality preschool should be.

At Fairgrounds Child Development Center, we provide services to 120 children ages 3 to 5 years of age. We have a full day, 10-hour, preschool program for parents who are in training, working or attending classes. Space is limited to 72 children. We also operate a 3-hour, part day preschool program for parents who do not have a full time need. We have a morning and afternoon session. Parent involvement and participation of 2 days a month is a program expectation.
