Educator Development

The KCSOS Educator Development team is committed to working with adults across the educational spectrum to ultimately impact student success. Our partnership with districts provides mentoring and coaching services within a comprehensive system of support intentionally designed to facilitate educator development and student achievement.

Programs

Administrator Credential Program

KCSOS's Clear Administrative Services Credential (CASC) Program provides a local option for new administrators to clear their Preliminary Administrative Services Credential.

Teacher Development Program

KCSOS's Teacher Development Program (TDP) focuses its district support services on the beginning steps of the Learning to Teach Continuum.

Teacher Induction Program

KCSOS’s Teacher Induction Program provides two years of job-embedded structured support and professional development for teachers who hold a Preliminary Credential.

AmeriCorps

KCSOS, with a grant administered by California Volunteers and sponsored by the Corporation for National and Community Service, mobilizes 36 AmeriCorps mentors to work with over 700 youth.

Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential Program

Soon, we will launch a new credential program catering to Career Technical Education (CTE) teachers.

Mentor & Coaching Support Services

Mentor and Coach Development Program prepares individuals to excel in diverse mentoring and coaching roles.
