Jayme Stuart Honored with Wendy Wayne Award

Jayme Stuart

The Kegley Institute of Ethics at California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB) recently announced the recipients of its 2022 Wendy Wayne Ethics Award. One of these recipients is KCSOS’s very own Jayme Stuart, a Child & Family Services Coordinator with over 27 years of service at KCSOS.

Her work as a dedicated advocate for Kern County’s children has positively impacted the way Kern County provides services to children and families.

Some of these accomplishments include leading a team of staff and co-located agencies throughout Kern County who serve emancipated foster and homeless youth with housing, job training, case management, and a variety of other key services at the Kern County Network for Children’s Dream Center.

The awards honor CSUB alumna and beloved Bakersfield community member Wendy Wayne, who was a dedicated volunteer and ethical leader in the Bakersfield community. She served as a Peace Corps volunteer, a nurse at Kern Medical Center and as an advocate for child education with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools.

Congratulations Jayme for your service and dedication to continuing Wendy Wayne’s legacy and for being a fierce advocate for children in Kern County.
