Joe Marcano – Area 2

Joe Marcano serves as a Supervising Deputy District Attorney for the County of Kern. He is the son of a retired school teacher and award-winning prosecutor who worked his way through college, earning his law degree at the University of California, Hastings School of Law.

Mr. Marcano and his family are proud residents of Shafter, California. His wife is a graduate of Wasco High Schools and his three stepdaughters attended Shafter High School.

Mr. Marcano was elected to the Kern County Board of Education in 2022.
