Ming Ave. Child Development Center

Ming Avenue is located at the center of Bakersfield and is one of our larger centers in the Early Childhood Education program. The staff’s mission is to provide an enriched, enjoyable and meaningful experience for young children. Staff understand that children respond best to teachers who instruct with love and kindness.

At Ming Avenue Child Development Center, we provide services to 208 children ages 2 to 5 years of age. We have a full day, 10-hour, preschool program for parents who are in training, working or attending classes. Space is limited to 120 children. We also operate a 3-hour, part day preschool program for parents who do not have a full time need. We have a morning and afternoon session. Parent involvement and participation of 2 days a month is a program expectation.
