Bridges Career Development Academy is a classroom-based program that provides high-risk students with career technical education and enrichment opportunities while they work toward earning a high school diploma. Bridges is a collaborative partnership among the RISE program, the Kern County Probation Department, and Kern County behavioral health providers. The program serves students who are court-ordered, referred by their probation office, or transitioning from one of the county’s residential youth treatment facilities.
