According to students participating in the 2000 Mock Trials:
- 83.3% of student respondents would recommend that other students participate in Mock Trials. Improvements in critical thinking about complex issues, presentation skills, teamwork, cooperation, and confidence were all noted as increasing as a result of participating in Mock Trials.
According to educators, parents, and attorney coaches participating in the 2000 Mock Trials:
- Students’ basic knowledge about law and the legal system increased significantly. Other areas showing marked improvement included: reading and writing skills, synthesis of information, presentation skills, participation skills, confidence and self-esteem.
