Communication Services

The Communications Department is the liaison between KCSOS and its internal and external audiences. The department is responsible for informing schools, districts and the general public about KCSOS’s numerous programs, services and educational opportunities. It issues news releases, publications, and serves as a resource for members of the media seeking information about public education in Kern County, in addition to assisting local districts with their communications efforts, including copy writing, crisis communication support, branding and social media strategies.
