Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)

The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a requirement of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Each school district must engage educational partners, including parents, staff, students, and community partners, in developing the plan. The LCAP describes the district’s overall vision for students, annual goals, and specific actions the district will take to achieve that vision and those goals. The LCAP also demonstrates how the district’s budget will support the achievement of its goals and evaluates the effectiveness of the strategies outlined in the plan in improving student outcomes.
