Rosedale Union School District – Notice of Public Hearing

April 9, 2020 4:15 p.m.

A Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Rosedale Union School District on April 9, 2020. Due to public health directives relating to the COVID-19 pandemic regarding nonessential gatherings and social distancing, the meeting will be held via telephone and/or electronic means.

Persons wishing to provide public comment will be able to access the public hearing via telephone or electronic means and should contact the District Office at 661-588-6000 between the hours of 12:00 and 3:45 on the day of the hearing to receive access information. Comments may also be provided via e-mail to the following e-mail address: slemon@ruesd.net or mclanton@ruesd.net

At the hearing, the District will receive public testimony from the community on the request for waiver by the State Board of Education of electoral requirements of Education Code sections 5019, 5020 and 5030 to establish trustee areas and adopt a by-trustee area electoral process, pursuant to the Board of Trustees’ Resolution Nos. 1920-06 (November 12, 2019), 1920-11 (December 17, 2020) and 1920-13 (January 14, 2020)

All interested persons are invited to attend and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
