Facilities & Property Management supports LEAs with resources regarding all processes related to construction. The department maintains relationships with the Department of the State Architect (DSA), California Department of Education (CDE), and the Office of Public School Construction (OPSC). The team can provide guidance to school districts through the construction process.
KCSOS facilities & property management staff are experienced in all planning and project development processes for new school or modernization construction. The department has the ability to answer questions and help guide the school districts to resources regarding all state processes involved in developing and building or renovating a school. The department has maintains strong relationships with staff at the Department of the State Architect (DSA), California Department of Education (CDE), and the Office of Public School Construction (OPSC), that may be of benefit to the district in navigating the process. The department can aide a small school district through the Architect and Construction Manager Selection process and provide guidance through design and or construction.
