Operational Support

The Division of Operation Support provides essential services to KCSOS program and school district partners in the areas of food & nutritional services, maintenance, operations, transportation, school bus driver training, and vehicle maintenance services. By managing these critical areas, the division supports educators and students, fostering a safe, efficient, and conducive learning environment throughout Kern County.

The Food & Nutrition Services Department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students’ health, well-being, and their ability to learn.

Maintenance & Operations

The Maintenance & Operations Department is responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning and upkeep of facilities, infrastructure, and equipment across Kern County.

Transportation Services

Transportation & Vehicle Maintenance has one goal: Safely transport Kern County Students. It is a joint effort that allows our team to complete the mission of the organization.
