Setting the Foundation and Norms

Teams will start with the why behind PLC and set norms for calibration.

Identify Essential Standards (ES)

Teams will identify ES based on a criteria (endurance, leverage and readiness)

Create a Pacing Calendar Based on ES

Once ES have been selected, teams will map out when each one will be taught and when the CFA will be administered

Deconstruct ES

Using a protocol, teams will deconstruct the ES into smaller learning targets

Create Common Formative Assessments (CFAs)

Teams will develop a CFA to assess each learning target of the ES

Data Analysis

Teams will engage in a process of analyzing data

Responding to Instruction and Intervention

Teams will action plan based on results, ensuring to focus on student by student basis
