Science

The KCSOS Curriculum and Instruction Department offers a variety of professional learning opportunities and customized support to districts, schools, and teachers to facilitate the implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and to work towards the realization of the vision of the 2016 California Science Framework. We partner with the Kern County Science Foundation in inspiring Kern County youths to pursue a lifelong love and understanding of science by hosting the Kern County Regional Science Fair and preparing students for the California State Science Fair.
