The Kern County Superintendent of Schools (KCSOS) serves as the Local Educational Consortium (LEC) that contracts with the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to administer the Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (MAA) Program and the Random Moment Time Survey (RMTS).<\/p>\n

The MAA Department is responsible for contracting with schools in Region 8 that wish to participate. The department ensures the proper administration of MAA and RMTS and works closely with districts to maintain compliance with all state and federal guidelines.<\/p>\n
