\nParticipants who complete this training will be eligible for appointment as a supervisor of attendance in accordance with Education Code \u00a7 48240 et seq., and SARB-certified by the Kern County Superintendent of Schools.<\/p>\n
\nThis workshop will cover the policies and procedures related to student records \u2013 from the gathering of student information beginning at the point of school enrollment to the destruction of records at the appropriate time.<\/p>\n
\nThis workshop will highlight new laws affecting the areas supported by student services\/child welfare and attendance (CWA) staff.<\/p>\n
\nThe workshop will address the proper application of the laws, policies, court decisions, and best practices that guide the suspension and expulsion process.<\/p>\n
\nThis workshop provides guidance in the development and\/or revision of the school safety plan and that the content of the plan is useful and practical for all members of the school community.<\/p>\n
\nThis workshop will equip educators and community stakeholders with the necessary tools and strategies to foster meaningful engagement between families, schools, and communities.<\/p>\nIf you’d like to host an attendance information table at your school site please contact:<\/h6>\n
