Salary

$37.21 hourly. Hours and dates vary depending on extended day program.

Responsibilities

Migrant Extended Day School Teachers will carry out pre/post assessments; determine needs of each child based on pre-assessment results; plan and prepare lessons for Migrant Students based on pre-assessment in language arts and mathematics; deliver quality instruction to students; maintain accurate records; keep accurate student progress records; communicate with parents, as needed; and carry out assigned curriculum, participate in staff development activities and implement specific instructional methods and strategies as instructed.

Qualifications

Appropriate valid California Teaching Credential and possess a strong teaching background.
