Regional Summer Recruiter Migrant Education Program Services
Under direction, the Regional Summer Recruiter performs liaison functions with school districts, and other agencies as assigned in the collection and processing of data; responsible for providing analysis and interpretation of such data as required. The Regional Summer Recruiter will also coordinate the dissemination of services to identified students.
$15.00 per hour
One year performing similar job duties desired.
Minimum Education Requirement
Two (2) years of college is preferred. However, any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the above duties is acceptable.
Must maintain proof of privately owned automobile insurance and possess a valid California Motor Vehicle operator’s license.
Examples of Duties
The Regional Summer Recruiter performs complex and technical clerical work involving a review and audit of a variety of materials and a thorough familiarity with policies, practices, and procedures pertaining to the unit work functions; reviews, audits, and monitors the development of a variety of technical reports and statistical data; locates and abstracts data from a variety of informational sources; devises forms to compile and abstract data and determines report formatting; answers technical questions concerning the word unit’s area of responsibility types from rough drafts and notes using transcription and work processing equipment; organizes and coordinates the preparation of documents and records which may include forms, Certificate of Eligibility, Services Logs, Needs Assessments, and a variety of other materials; prepares indices and cross references information concerning a variety of files and records; initiates and receives telephone contacts regarding the functions of the work unit and pertaining to information obtainable only from the work unit; operates a computer terminal or Tablet PC to input and extract data from an automated information management, storage and retrieval system.
