School Secretary – VOC Tehachapi
Under the direction of the school site Supervisor/Principal Coordinator or School Secretary, performs a variety of duties related to running of school sites and classrooms.
$13.91 per hour
18 months experience performing varied general office or clerical functions, one year of experience in a school site or education agency preferred.
Minimum education requirement
Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade
Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and possess a valid California Motor Vehicle operator’s license.
Example of duties
Performs a variety of clerical tasks, including typing, proofreading, filing and the recording of data; answers the telephone and provides caller with routine information and data. Processes time sheets and other employee related documents; processes letters to parents and other professionals regarding Program information. May prepare student enrollment documents, credit transcript information, and/or transfer pupil records to requesting agencies.
