Do you know K-12 educators or students? Want to get them involved in a fun and inspiring project? Tell them
about Doodle 4 Google, a competition where students design the Google logo alongside a theme. This year’s theme is “If I Could Do Anything, I Would…”, and the winning doodler will have his or her artwork viewed by millions on the Google homepage, win a college scholarship, earn computers for his or her school,and have his or her winning design exhibited in the Smithsonian’s, Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
Overview -Target offers grants to schools and nonprofits that bring arts and cultural experiences directly to K-12 students. These programs must have a curriculum component.
Guidelines -Art and Culture in Schools grants are $2,000. Grant applications are typically accepted between March 1 and April 30 each year, with grant notifications delivered in September.
