6.4.3. M & O Work Order Instructions


SCHOOLDUDE INSTRUCTIONS

Log on to ‘Schooldude.com’

http://www.schooldude.com

Scroll down to the MaintenanceDirect Icon and click.

At this point please be sure to add this page to your favorites.

Type in your Login Name and Password and then using your mouse click on the Sign-in icon.

Click on the ‘New Request’ folder to start entering a New Work Order.

Step 1 -

Location: Click on the drop down menu and highlight the location you want and click on it.

Area: Optional at this point.

Area Number: Anything that will help clarify where work needs to be done.

Step 2 -Select Problem Type: Click on the most appropriate area possible.

Step 3 - Please describe your problem or request: Self explanatory.

Step 4 - Requested Completion Date: Click on calendar icon.

Click on the date you want.

Step 5 - Check only is case of an emergency.

Step 6 - Please provide contact information for follow-up questions and notifications. This information will be provided automatically from your login.

Step 7 - Submittal Password – type in the word password

Step 8 – Click on ‘Submit’ button.

Click on the ‘My Requests’ folder.

Work Order #124 is the new request that was just input.

This file will show all the requests that you have entered.

When M&O receives your request and assigns it to an employee the ‘Status’ will change from ‘New Request’ to ‘Work in Progress’ in the first column.

The second column tells you the Work Order Number and description of work requested.

The third column is the Date the request was entered and the Problem Type you selected.

The fourth and final column will have the date the Work Order is completed. (The Status will also change in the first column.)

TO END SESSION: Close Internet Explorer by clicking the “X” in the upper right hand corner or open a new web site.

From any folder you can click on the ‘TUTORIAL’ button and a smaller screen will appear explaining the system.
