Internal Business Services


Internal Business Services (IBS) is responsible for all County Office financial matters, and also monitors office compliance with County Office Board policies, administrative regulations, the Education Code and the requirements of state and federal agencies. Internal Business staff works closely with all departments within the County Office in the day to day operations to assist programs and departments in meeting their goals and objectives and still be in compliance with all appropriate regulations and procedures.

Internal Business consists of the following services:

  • Budget and Accounting Services: Responsible for the development, adoption and revision of the County Office budget; the production of monthly reports for program managers; and the reporting to state and federal agencies as required.
  • Accounts Receivable: Prepares the collection and deposit of all monies owed to the County Office.
  • Purchasing/Contract Services: Receives and processes purchase requisitions/purchase orders for all programs operated by the County Office. Services may include the solicitation of quotes and formal competitive bids for materials, supplies, equipment, services and construction. Also reviews, revises and processes all County Office contracts with vendors and other agencies.
