ASD Parent Training: Improve Child’s Behavior

Parents of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are invited to attend a free to the public training called “Working with the School to Improve Your Child’s Problem Behavior” on May 1 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Kern County Superintendent of Schools Office, 1300 17th Street in Bakersfield. Training will be held in Room 1B. For registration information, contact Maria Madrigal at (661) 636-4886.

Parents will learn:
●    Several common interventions/strategies the school may be using to address minor problem behaviors
●    How to collaborate with the school to address minor behavioral concerns
●    Several simple strategies to support behavioral improvements in the home environment
