CALM Labor Day schedule
The California Living Museum (CALM), 10500 Alfred Harrell Highway (between Lake Ming and Hart Park) will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. for the Sept. 5 Labor Day holiday which is also Senior Discovery Day (every Monday) with all visitors ages 60 years and older admitted for half price. Seniors will receive a 10 percent discount on anything purchased in the CALM Gift Store. Children, ages 3-12, also get a Labor Day discount, $1 off the admission price.
It is a great time to bring the entire family out to visit the award-winning Cats of California exhibit, see how the Shore Bird Exhibit being built entirely by volunteers is coming along, or just enjoy the weather, picturesque landscapes and the company of 200 resident animals native to California.
CALM for 28 years has been providing residence to animals that because of injury or abandonment can no longer survive on their own in the wild.
